STAINLESS STEEL CONDITIONED CUT WIRE SHOT

Stainless steel conditioned cut wire shots, also called spherical stainless steel cut wire shots, are made by stainless steel wire after cutting and conditioning. Different degrees of roundness are available.

Spherical conditioned stainless cut wire shots are used more in the shot peening process in different industries such as automotive industries, aerospace industry, medical industry, shipping industry etc.

Conditioned stainless steel cut wire shot is a precision tool. It offers an extra white finish, and dust accumulation will be nil.

Production of stainless steel conditioned cut wire shot

BH stainless steel conditioned cut wire shots are made from type AISI 316/304/202/410/430 stainless steel wire. It is produced by wire drawing, cutting, rounding and other procedures. It fulfils the American National Standard SAE AMS 2431/4

During the process, BH obtains several conditioned forms G1 (normal conditioned), G2 (double conditioned) and G3 (special conditioned), where G3 is the perfect rounded particle.

Applications of stainless steel conditioned cut wire shot

BH stainless steel cut wire shots are being used in important applications where ferrous contamination in blasting stainless steel, titanium, aluminium, or other non-ferrous work objects could be harmful. It is the ideal product for shot blasting:

  • Aluminium Engines
  • Alloy Wheels
  • Surface Preparation
  • Brass pipe fittings
  • Stainless plate profiling
  • Stainless utensils
  • Magnesium die-casting
  • Aluminium die-casting

Advantages of stainless steel conditioned cut wire shot

BH 430 stainless steel conditioned cut wire shots have uniform particles and no pores inside the steel shot. It has the advantages of long life and short shot blasting time. The surface of the workpiece highlights the metal color. The benefits are:

  • Silvery white surface color of workpieces after cleaning
  • Less environmental pollution.
  • Reduced labor intensity of workers
  • High efficiency, less pill consumption and lower production cost.
